CISS has created suggested packing lists for students coming to Canada for the summer. Please feel free to use these as a guideline on what to bring. We strongly discourage students from bringing valuables. We also suggest that all items are clearly labelled with the first and last name of the student.
CISS programmes have WiFi so electronic devices such as mobile phones may be used. Swallowdale Camp has a strict limited use policy to be aware of, but participants are still encouraged to bring their own mobile devices. Students attending our specialty courses (Academic & Career Prep, Future Entrepreneurs, AI Future Skills Lab or Global Leadership) are recommended to bring their own laptop.
