How does CISS care for sick or injured students?

All CISS programmes have a designated Health Care Provider on staff who is available 24-hours a day. Health Care Providers are certified in First Aid and provide basic care to students who are not feeling well or who have minor injuries. For serious injuries, we bring students to a medical clinic or hospital for care and parents are notified immediately.
CISS provides full emergency medical insurance for all international students, so there is no cost to the student or parent in the event of a clinic or hospital visit.
