Does CISS have any specialty courses?

Students seeking to learn something beyond “ESL” during their stay with CISS may choose from one of our many specialty courses:

1. Global Leadership
   Students explore what makes an effective leader, practise working with others and
   build confidence to share their ideas. Interactive lessons and engaging group work
   give students opportunities to apply those skills in a practical and supportive setting.
2. Academic & Career Prep
   Students explore their interests and future options while building practical skills for
   post-secondary study. Through class discussions, self-reflection, campus tours, and
   career exploration, students develop greater confidence in making decisions about
   what comes next.
3. Future Entrepeneurs
   Students explore what it takes to turn an idea into a business, from spotting an
   opportunity to building a plan and persuading others to believe in it. Through creative
   challenges and collaborative projects, they practise making decisions, responding to
   setbacks, and developing a venture with purpose.
4. AI Future Skills Lab
   Students explore how AI is changing our lives and are challenged to consider the
   opportunities and questions it raises. Through discussion, creative activities, and
   group projects, students learn ways to use new technology to help solve problems
   that impact the world around us.
