| Counsellors | All | Join our incredible summer team in a challenging, but rewarding role as a camp counsellor! As a counsellor, you will guide and mentor the international students in our care. You will also be responsible for helping to supervise and organize trips, activities, evening programmes – and so much more! | Counsellors must be 18+ years of age. We are seeking applicants who have lots of energy and enthusiasm; who are excited to grow and learn from this experience; and who believe in working hard to support their fellow team members. |
| ESL Teachers | All | Apply your ESL teaching skills by working at one of our international summer programmes! ESL teachers work within our curriculum guidelines to give students the best possible opportunity to develop their English language skills, learning everything from basic greetings through to advanced conversation and debates. | All teachers must have a B.Ed or be TESOL qualified to be considered for hire. ESL teachers hired at Swallowdale Camp will live onsite for the summer, while teachers at the CISS Toronto have the option to live off-site. |
| Waterfront Director | Swallowdale | We are seeking to fill the important role of Waterfront director at our summer camp in Rosseau, ON. Candidates will oversee the waterfront staff, ensuring that all safety protocols are met to the highest standards, while offering our campers an opportunity to learn new skills in various waterfront activities. | Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, NLS certified and have current First Aid and CPR certification. The Waterfront Director must have strong leadership and organizational skills, together with a strong sense of responsibility. Experience working at a lake-front camp setting is an asset. |
| Waterfront Staff | Swallowdale | We are looking enthusiastic and hard-working individuals to fill a variety of waterfront staff positions are our summer camp in Rosseau, ON. Positions available include: lifeguards, kayaking instructor, windsurfing instructor, sailing instructor, and canoeing instructor. | Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with current Bronze Medallion or equivalent (Bronze Cross or higher is preferred). First Aid and CPR certification is also essential. |
| Sailing Instructors | Swallowdale | We are seeking staff who can teach sailing to our campers at our Swallowdale location | 18 years old and strong sailing ability |
| Driver/Counsellor | All | We are hiring enthusiastic counsellors who can also drive a minivan to assist in getting campers to and from the airport | 21 years of age and a valid driver’s license |
| Nurses | All | We require qualified health care staff to live on site at each of our locations. | Minimum completion of first year in a nursing program |
